Pet Insurance for your pet may or may not have been something you considered when you first got a new puppy or kitten. However this kind of insurance is fast becoming a regular part of every day pet care. There are a multitude of companies offering pet insurance. Some specialising in only this and others are companies already offering insurance to us also.

All of these companies offer a wide and varied range of services and types of cover. There are a few important things to consider when insuring you pets.

  • Most companies offer multi discounts for multiple pets.

  • Some of the levels of cover will include routine annual care and some significant savings can be made.

  • Read the fine print, as some companies will have exclusions or special guidelines your pet must meet. 
The biggest benefit of pet insurance is the security and comfort of knowing that if something unforseen happens, financial constraints will not be a deciding factor when looking at a treatment plan.
